Intertextuality
Intertextuality is a show of a relationship between two types of text. This is shown with a textual analysis of Robert Palmer's "Addicted to love" and Shania Twain's "Man, I feel like a woman".
In Palmer's video it shows a man singing, wearing black and white, surrounded by women playing musical instruments wearing red clothing. This shows a similar context to Twain's video in that she is the one wearing the black and white clothing but also she is the one singing and is the main focus. Also, she is surrounded by men wearing red shows the same context just a gender role-reversal.

Brief
We have been asked to create a music video to a song which we find interesting. We will consider continuity, context and quality of film. We have also been asked to create an advanced portfolio in which we are required to make a CD cover for our song and also create a magazine advertisement for this music video.
